Weber Silver Bell Ceramic Audio
Here s a quick demonstration comparing these two speakers through a marshall 1987.
Weber silver bell ceramic audio. Great low end from the silver bell while retaining clarity and definition from the blue dog. Bold big low end more headroom than the alnico version. I ve got a weber silver bell arriving in a day or two. As with all weber speakers the higher the power rating the warmer and smoother the speaker.
A silver bell doesn t sound much like a g12m h style speaker imo. All of these are great speakers. Or a pair of each in a 4 12. 4 75 no cover 5 375 with cover cutout size.
Second is the celestion alnico gold. The m sounds more. It seems to have scooped mids to my ear compared to the other speakers. 12 40oz ceramic magnet 1 3 4 voice coil ribbed cone.
Weber silver bell ceramic 50w speaker i bought the speaker a few months ago in order to have a cool sounding closed back 1x12 cabinet but i had just used my convertible cab as an open back until. Also available with weber s hemp cone which is a smoother darker tone with less attack great for taming treble. Classic marshall tone with ceramic punch. Try pairing this with a blue dog in a 2 12 combination.
Reminiscent of the classic marshall stack tone. Prior to the silver bell i used a celestion g12h30 warehouse reaper alnico blue and weber ceramic blue dog. But i ve heard that the silver bell is also designed to imitate a silver greenback. First is the silver bell.
The silver bell has less coloration tighter and more pronounced bass and really sweet breakup. But something was missing.
